Scavenger Egg Hunt
One of the main attractions of the Bunny Hop event is the Scavenger Egg Hunt. Guests can pick up a game card at either the north or south entrances and embark on a quest to locate six larger-than-life, one-dimensional colorful eggs featuring different animals throughout the park. Once they’ve found all six eggs, they can turn in their game card for a sweet treat at the South Gate Market or North Gate Shop, while supplies last.
Bunny Hop Dance Party
Adding to the festive atmosphere, the Bunny Hop event features a lively dance party at the Hamill Family Nature Plaza. From noon to 3 p.m., a DJ will be spinning tunes to get everyone moving and grooving to the beat.
Photo Opportunities with the Easter Bunny
No Easter celebration would be complete without the iconic Easter Bunny. At the Swan Pavilion, visitors can take photos with the Brookfield Zoo Easter Bunny costumed character in front of a spring-themed background between 1 and 4 p.m.

For those interested in learning more about the zoo’s resident rabbits, the Bunny Hop event offers special animal chats at the Hamill Family Play Zoo. These informative sessions, presented by the zoo’s animal care staff, take place at 11 a.m. and 1 p.m. Additionally, children can unleash their creativity by making their own Easter-themed art at the Workshop.
Breakfast with the Bunny: A Delightful Dining Experience
In addition to the Bunny Hop event, Brookfield Zoo also offers a special “Breakfast with the Bunny” experience on select dates.
