• Cost: $13.75 per child/student, $0.75 per chaperone, and $19.75 per additional adult

• Adults paying at the front gate may not participate in the tour

If your group prefers a more independent and flexible experience, the Self-Guided Tours at Cheyenne Mountain Zoo might be the perfect option. These tours allow you to explore the zoo at your own pace, taking in the sights and sounds at your own leisure.

The cost for Self-Guided Tours is as follows:

• $24.75 per non-member adult
• $17.75 per non-member child
• $2 discount per person when purchasing 15 or more tickets in a single transaction

To plan your Cheyenne Mountain Zoo field trip, simply fill out the group form on the zoo’s website to receive a 50% off code via email. Parking and Transportation Considerations

It’s important to note that school buses and other vehicles requiring more than one parking space will need to park at an off-site location. Transportation to and from the off-site location is the responsibility of the visiting group.

Inclement Weather and Cancellations

In the event of inclement weather or late starts, it is the responsibility of the school to cancel the tour 24 hours in advance and reschedule by contacting Sue Sallee at 719-599-8578. The CMZ Docent Auxiliary does not cancel tours; only the schools can do this.
